i'm kate, the one behind the camera at kate wilke photography. i am a portrait and wedding photographer and innovation and originality are two traits I'm always striving to embody. i feel that when i'm looking through the lens, i see beauty that others may not see in themselves. i thrive on capturing raw emotion and unique moments. i truly believe in my work and enjoy collaborating creatively with clients to make your vision for your photos a reality.
dress up in your fanciest clothes and meet me in the grungiest location you can think of. theme your shoot around a word or idea, like "bright colors", and bring props that make your photos pop. silhouettes at sunset, your new puppy, a 50's theme... let's create something that describes you. if you can dream it - i can create it.
the sessions i currently shoot include kids, seniors, families, engagement, bridal, wedding, maternity and pets. I'm currently located in rowlett, texas.
at home, i'm a proud wife, to david, and mommy of three handsome boys, (ben, will & andy). after becoming a stay at home mom, and realizing i spent alot of time taking photos of my boys - trying to capture those fleeting moments. i took it upon myself to research, learn, and study as much as i could about photography. i am now determined to make a difference in the lives of others by creating memorable experiences and photographic art. what started as a fun hobby has now blossomed into a very fulfilling business.
